Once again, a late start. This time by choice. So many pre 4th gatherings and get togethers after Covid. All very much enjoyed.
It is time to head north for the summer.
Prep has been steady through the spring. New Raymarine autopilot and chart plotter. Rewired the multiple onboard networks. Upgraded the solar panel charge controller with bluetooth.
The main event was climbing the mast to lubricate the upper bearings for the in-mast furling system. First time to self boson chair lift to the top of the mast.
The final touches were to the brightwork eyebrows. They were looking shabby and needed to be ‘renewed’ with cetol.
